How To Install Linux (Ubuntu) on USB

Linux is becoming more and more popular in these days, because everybody thinks that, it is used for hacking and blah blah….! anyways linux is more stable and more reliable Operating system then others and Also it is a free source Operating system, that you don’t have to pay for using it. So I’m going to tell you about How to Install Linux to your USB.Ubuntu

To install Linux to your USB or any external Hard drive, You have to download a Free source software AKA LinuxLive USB Creator(Click Here For Download). 

Now, you have to do is install that tool to your Computer system, then open it and Make the Live USB disk. 


Here are the steps followed to create the LinuxLive USB key and estimated times: 

• Formatting the USB key (if option checked) (1 min.) 

 

• Cleaning previous install (< 1 min.) 

 

• Downloading Virtual-box as a background task * (5 – 10 min. but in the background) 

 

• Copying source files to the USB key (5 – 10 min.) 

 

• Renaming some files (< 1 min.) 

 

• Hiding files (if option checked) (< 1 min.) 

 

• Creating the persistence file (1 min. per 100 MB) 

 

• Formating the persistence file (1 – 5 min.) 

 

• Installing boot sector (< 1 min.) 

 

• Uncompressed and installing VirtualBox on the USB key (3 – 7 min.)
